I like eggs fried, scrambled, boiled, anyway you fix them except when the whites aren't done and it looks like snot.  Then I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.

4.If you could be given 1 million dollars and all you had to do to get it was to have a part of your body removed would you do it?  And what part of your body are you willing to give up? My toenail that wants to be ingrown but I won't let it.

5.If you had to give up one electrical appliance in your house what would you give up?  This can include radio, computer, toaster, etc... Ricks alarm clock..I hate that piece of junk!

Today was something else.

I met a new manager/kid/I am so smart

He told me to be friendly and nice to the customers.

Um...I thought I was

He told me to talk and be friendly with the kids

Gee...that sounds like a good idea!  How long did you have to work here to learn that???

He told me to make sure the customers had a pleasant experience shopping and to be helpful.

Oh man!  I was really hoping to piss someone off today and now I have to be nice

He gave me a 20 minute lecture on behavior.

Yes sir...you really know me good.....NOT

All of this before he even allowed me to be on a register.

Shouldn't a "boss"  watch an employee first to see how they interact with customers and if there is a problem THEN>>>

He had me bagging for 3 hours straight.

Hello!  I am a checker!!!!!!

When I finally got on a register I had to check and then bag all my orders.

I guess that saves them some money......sure sucks for the customers who have to wait while this happens though, not to mention the fact that 500.00 worth of groceries does not fit on that little table,.

 

Someone forgot to sceudule baggers so when I was bagging I had to bag for 6 registers.

Normally most baggers are responsible for two at most....

I had to refuse to take out one of the orders because there was a 50 lb bag of dog food...like I am going to be able to lift that!

The "managers" all stood around talking to each other.

So...what are your plans for tonight???blahblahblah

I had to go to the back of the store over 15 times to get a bag of ice.

As fast as possible because I had to be back to bag groceries

The front cooler was down.

FIX it!!

Definately need a different job!

I am off for two days...I refuse to go or do anything!

1. Do you drink milk?  If you do what percent do you drink? 1%, 2%, Whole Milk, Skim?

I only drink 2%.  I started doing this when I was in Weight Watchers and just stayed with it.  Whole taste too fatty now.  I love a tall glass of ice cold milk and a brownie

2. You can't have a big glass of cold milk without cookies...so what is your favorite cookie?

Ok cookies?  white chocolate chip and macadamia nut. OMgoodness now you've done it!!!

3.  What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to your spouse/best friend/significant other?

Cleaning out the refrigerator and leaving the leftover dishes food and all out on the table to harden...not like the man does dishes....  also constantly telling me how bad I drive.  Which no one else seems to notice. 

4.  Do you read the newspaper?  If so what section do you start in?

5.  When was the last time you dressed up for Halloween and what were you?  Extra goodie gum drops if you have a picture and post it.

Every year I dress up for Halloween.  When Eric was small I would always dress up something to go along with him. We won many compititions.  One year that I remember with a smile is the year he went as a doctor in training and I was his patient.  I looked like I had just been in a terrible car accident.  That was when he was in the second grade over ten years ago and I had a young girl come through my line at work who remembered me from that LOL  She said she thought I was really hurt until she saw me up on the stage for the contest.

     

New Job

I think I would like a new job.  I love people but I am begining not to like them very much.

There are many things that people do that drive me crazy.

A lady today yelled at me because she got a letter in the mail about a special at one of our other grocery stores.  It had some items on sale only in their store and she got mad at me because we weren't having the same specials...ummmm...not my fault!!!

Everyone is going crazy buying supplys for school.  Getting mad at me because they waited until the last minute and we are out of some items. ummmm not my fault!!!!

One lady came in and said she left her money at home and could I hold her sale until she went home to get the money....um  not my fault!!!!

I see young and old struggling to buy groceries and making ends meet, most older people even if they do get assistantance is like around 10 dollars a month,

While some people LIE and say they have no support and drive fancy cars and wear diamond rings and have 10 children get the assistance and waste it on junk food.

I had this one lady come in today and use her whole food stamp allowance on a party for the adults.  Chips, Candy etc.

ONe young girl of about 16 years old came through my line today and bought a pregnancy test, diapers and condums.

Some times I just want to scream.

I had to count to ten while smiling at least ten times today.

I need a new job.

I do not want to work with the public anymore.

I wish I could find a proof reading job or learn how to do the medical transcribe.

I have been practicing my typing and am up to 64 words per minute.

I am also painting again.

Right now I am working on an underwater scene.

It calms me down.

If anyone knows of an idea...PLEASE!!!

I am also working on my book I am writing again.  Maybe I will be the next Danielle Stelle...who knows!!!
