What's New This Year?

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007

I am so excited to start a new year!  7 is my lucky number.  Do you ever notice how many times 7 is refered to in the bible?  I think 7 must be Gods favorite number too!

There are 7 days in a week

There are 7 letters in my name

There are 7 members in my family here....Me, Rick, Eric, Tiny, and the cats...lol

There are 7 fingers on my right hand.

Just kidding about the last one just seeing who actually reads this word for word LOL

Anywho...like Amanda says.....

I start this year on a new and clean page.

Already good things are happening.

I start this year working at a job I love....for the most part...there is always that little kink....or bossy person we would like to zap with the happiness gun.

I worked New Years Eve until closing and was back by 5am to do the candy.  Today I go in at 5 to do the candy again.  Tomorrow I open at 5:45...Thurs I finally get a break but will spend all day cleaning and organizing the new stuff.

I will take pictures of it all then.

Anyone interested in before and after pictures?

Don't know if I am brave enough to show the clutter...Maybe just the after ones. LOL

That made me remember one time when Eric was about nine.  I was at work and he got my video camera and video taped his room before he cleaned it up.  Then he video taped it after he cleaned it.

I asked him why he did that and he said so that he could watch it and whenever he was tempted to mess up his room he would watch the tape and keep his room clean instead because that was too much work. LOL.

Well I am off to work.

Remember...no matter where you go,  no matter where you are.

Somebody in Texas has you in her prayers and absolutlely ADORES you all!

I read it....actually we have 4 fingers and a thumb...just thought I'd throw that in.  Yes, 7 is an important number in the Bible.  I'm off to work today too.   Linda in Washington   http://journals.aol.com/lsfp1960/LindasWorld/

I am glad your hand is normal but hope your lucky 7 helps you out!      I think Eric's idea of watching the video of his room clean is a great idea!     You have been working a lot which will bring you a winning paycheck.    It is much better than playing the lottery on actual returns.    I am sorry I can't vote for you but my dial-up won't let me listen and the code number won't let me vote.     Wishing you and your family a great 2007!     mark

Happy New Year!!!
I made a big pot of black eyed peas this year, never knew before that we were suppossed to, so this should be a good year.....
And yes show those pictures!
Hope you are having a good week at work... I came home early today with a sore throat and fever. So while I was resting I filled out my calander for the new year with everyone's birthdays and anniversarys and balanced the checkbook for all of last year. I am so bad! #1 resolution this year: balance checkbook each month!
I saved your survey so I can answer the questions....
I am off to order some goodies from Current Catalog...

I thought it was the most touching song I'd ever heard sung to and for parents.  How fitting too.  Thank you again for telling me about the site.  I don't record much because my mic and because I don't sing so well but I do it for pleasure.  So glad to have a friend like you who enjoys it too.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU TOO!
