PROMOTION

Well, I have been Promoted.  They replaced me in the candy job and I am now working in the Pharmacy!  Tomorrow will be my third day.  So far I like it alot.  The first day all I did was answer the phones and refill prescriptions.  Then they put me on the drive through for the rest of the day.

Today I started out in the drive through and after lunch was moved to the main lobby.

Tomorrow I am not sure where I will be working in the Pharmacy, but I am learning new things everyday.

There sure are alot of people in my area with bad coughs.

Me included.  I did go to the doctor and am on cough medicine and antibiotic.  But I am still coughing really hard and alot.

The girl I do candy with who was so hard on me told me she missed me alot.  She is upset because they moved me.  So are alot of my managers up front .

I seem to be fitting in well with the new people I am working with in the Pharmacy.

It is alot of brain work.

I work 10 hour days now.

I get an hour for lunch.

I will give it my all.

I will still work every now and again scanning groceries up front.

Thislady came through today and said....what are you doing in Pharmacy? They need you up front to scan groceries I miss seeing you there.  Now I will have to be sick just to talk to you. LOL  I thought that was cute.

Eric is doing great at his new job at The Oasis.

He came home this weekend to try and help me get well.

He made me some super stew with all kinds of great veggies.

He waited on me hand and foot.

We didn't get to do much, but he kept telling me to just rest and he would take care of me.

I love that kid!

I am slowly getting better.

Here are some of the ingrediants he puts in his stew....taken from his grocery list when he went to the store to get s\tuff to make it...

green cabbage, zucchini squash, carrots, white mushrooms, onions, garlic, sweet potato, hamburger meat, tomatoes, beef broth.

He also made some jalapeno cornbread.

Gotta love a kid who will come home on his only days off in weeks and pamper his Mom.

I know I do!

Congratulations on the promotion.  The pharmacy will be interesting work.  I spent 7 years in a family practice clinic, processing the patients pharmacy refill requests (on average 100-150 a day).  I just made out the requests, pulled the charts & took them to the doctors for their "yeah or nay." But I learned to spell big words like; phenobarbital & amitriptyline.  LOL   Good job !!  I know you'll love the change.   Linda in Washington state
