Barb. This is a wonderful tribute to your Dad.  It really shows what kind of person he was.  I will be praying for you because I know what a big hole has been left in your heart.  I'm very glad that you do remember God's Promise.

Barbara,
Your Dad had a very warm smile, indeed.  He looks like a very kind gentle man who would open his heart to everyone he met.  I thought of you, your mom and your family a lot this weekend.  Needless to say, I prayed as often, too.  Your Dad was an awesome.  He gave you many gifts that money cannot buy, love, moral, values and he taught you to love and believe in the Lord.  You have memories that will never be taken away.  From the pictures  and what I read, every day was a celebration to your dad.  How wonderful to live like that.  I heard a song that reminds me of you, your Dad and Rick.  It is by Heartland, "I Loved Her First".  I will never hear that song again and not think of the you, Barbara and your Dad.  When I seen the picture on your wedding day and knowing your Dad married you and Rick, I smiled.  I know you miss him dearly.  Thanks for sharing those great pictures with all the loving memories attached with us.  Sending you a big hug, (((((((((Barbara))))))))).
Love,
Fay Ann

He seemed like such a fun loving guy.  I can only imagine how you feel right now missing him and all.  Makes me want to cry just thinking about it.  I loved his shorts in the pic next to the cruise ship. LOL  Hope you are doing ok.  : )

Isn't it a joy that certain people seem destined to be in our lives?  Certainly your father fits that description for you I'd say.  How wondrous for him that the only thing he'll ever have to do now is gaze upon the visage of Almighty God.  CATHY
