There Has Been An Accident

Last night when Eric left to go home it was raining pretty heavy.

On the way home a truck hydroplaned in front of him and the truck in front of him swerved and hit Erics car knocking him under the first truck.

His windsheild was completely busted out.  God was with Eric because he only got some cuts and bruises.

Rick and Eric just went to pick up the car and since the car was still in his Moms (Rick's) name, they wouldn't release the car.

They will be charging us per day that it stays there.

This is the same car that we just put 3,000.oo into for a new engine.

All new tires.

Now there it sits in the impound until we can transfer the title which involves the death certificate and everything.

Eric is fine though and that is all that really matters to me.

So here we are again.  No car for Eric to drive back and forth to work and to visit us.

They are on their way home right now.

It is still pouring down rain.

I need prayers.

And while you are praying I ask that you thank God that Eric is ok.

All of the other stuff will just have to be taken one day at a time.......

On the way home from Erics accident we saw another bad one.  A car hit another car from behind and totally flipped it into the air.

Oh my...believe me I understand your concern and also your gratefulness that Eric wasn't hurt worse.  Praise God that he's ok.  The other stuff will get sorted out.  And we just talked about this very thing Saturday night on the phone in regards to my son.  I am so sorry but so happy that your precious boy is ok.  Keep looking up ^      Linda in Washington state

That is bad news, but at least Eric is OK...save some bumps and bruises.  I hope the impound fees don't get too expensive, and the repairs are possible.

Good to hear that Eric is OK. Some people just don't know how to handle adverse weather conditions.

I'm so glad your son wasn't hurt any worse then he was. We are so happy for the rain to grow grass for the cattle but so unhappy for the bad things. Especially the two women who drowned in Comal county. Hope he won't have to be without his car for too long. Take care, Paula

Thank GOD Eric wasn't hurt more badly. The car is just a thing, it can be fixed or replaced. I know you know this. I know the car is a vital thing when one needs it to get around. I am so grateful his guardian angel was riding with him.  We've been having a lot rain here too. It NEVER rains here.LOL Hope you get everything sorted out.  Take care. Hugs & prayers, Barb

So glad Eric is ok, so sorry about the car....
I got the email to the website but wasn't sure which video you were referring to... I saw the one video where the car ran the red light and the two cars hit and a pedistrian was hit....
Big Hugs!
