Because He Loved Me

GOD MADE HIM FOR ME

HE SMILED AT ME ON MY VERY FIRST DAY

HE WIPED THE CHILDHOOD TEARS AWAY

HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO JUMP AND PLAY

AND TAUGHT ME HOW TO KNEEL AND PRAY

HE MADE SPECIAL TIME FOR ME

AND SHOWED ME WONDERS I COULD SEE

HE BELIEVED IN ALL THAT I COULD BE

AND LOVED ME UNCONDITIONALLY

HE BROUGHT ME UP WITH WISDOM

HE GAVE ME STRENGTH FOR LIFE

HE LOVED ME EVERY SECOND

AND TAUGHT ME WRONG FROM RIGHT

I SANG TO HIM HIS FINAL HOURS

I STOOD BESIDE HIS BED

I SENT HIM HOME TO JESUS

AND WEPT AS GOODBYE I SAID

I KNOW HE IS WITH JESUS

HE SITS BESIDE HIS THRONE

AND ONE DAY WHEN I DIE

HE WILL BE THERE TO LEAD ME HOME.

that is a beautiful poem, Barbara!!!

and he loved you very much; as the Lord loves you very much; he sees your grief and sadness; our joy is though, we get to see our loved ones again and spend all eternity with them!!!

Oh Barbara that is beautiful....of course, just like you.  I know you miss Daddy.  And Daddy loves you still and is waiting for you and Mom and the rest telling Jesus all kinds of stories about each of his loved ones.
I know you take peace in knowing he's with Jesus.   But I know your heart still aches.  Keep those memories alive.
Love you my Texas pal!

Barbara, what a beautiful poem.  It is as I commented once before, he prepared you in his wisdom to be who you are.  He prepared you for his leaving with good spiritual, morals and value upbringing.  I know you touch your heart many times a day and look to heaven and smile, tearfully, as he looks down on you with pride.

Love you, Barbara,
