HELP NEED IDEAS!!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO FOR YOUR MOM?

I WANT THIS YEAR TO BE SPECIAL FOR MINE.....I ONLY HAVE A FEW DAYS TO DECIDE WHAT TO DO......

I ALREADY HAVE A COUPLE OF IDEAS AND SINCE SHE DOES NOT READ MY JOURNAL I WILL TELL YOU A FEW....

SHE WANTS ME TO COOK HER A SPECIAL LUNCH..

SO I AM MAKING HER FAVORITE.

I WANT TO DECORATE THE KITCHEN LIKE EXTRA EXTRA RIBBONS BALLOONS ETC.

I WANT TO BUY HER FLOWERS.

IT COULD VERY WELL BE MY LAST MOTHERS DAY WITH HER HERE ON EARTH. I MUST MAKE IT SPECIAL.

I WILL BE THE ONLY CHILD THAT ACKNOWLEDGES HER THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL.

SAM WILL DO SOMETHING TOO I HOPE. HE USUALLY DOES...HE IS MY SISTERS HUSBAND WHO IS ALREADY IN HEAVEN WITH DAD....

SPEAKING OF DAD...HE ALWAYS MADE THE HOLIDAYS SPECIAL FOR MOM....

HE GAVE HER A PRESENT EVERY 22ND DAY OF EVERY MONTH OF THEIR 50 YEARS OF MARRIAGE.

SO HELP!

UM THANKS :)

I'm sure what ever you do will be special to her. That is nice that your b-i-l still thinks of your Mom. Your Dad was certainly a thoughtful man. Paula

I think a Mom and Daughter photo shoot is in order.  Help her get dressed up, do her hair and make-up and have Rick or someone take a ton of pictures of you two outside...if the weather is nice.  It will be fun, you will have them to remember forever, you will be pampering her and then you can also put her favortie one in a frame for her to keep in the house where ever she wants.

I really like the idea of a photo shoot with the two of you.  Even most Wal Mart's have a Photo Studio.  That would be really nice.  The special lunch, the decorated house, a bouquet of flowers...all of it sounds very nice.  I wrote and entry~a tribute about my mom.  Linda (Matthew's favorite) in Washington state  http://journals.aol.com/lsfp1960/LindasWorld/entries/2008/05/08/aol-cummunity-photo-challengetribute-to-mothers/2637

Yep, a photo shoot is the ticket! And maybe on Father's day (or on the 22nd of this month) you could give her an enlarged framed photo of the two of you together. I think that would be perfect! Martha :-)

I'm at a loss for my own mother.  What can you get our moms who have everything?

I sent my mom flowers and she got them today but either I didn't see it or I forgot to type something at the website that said they were from me, lol, so she didn't know all day til I emailed her and asked if she got her surprise.... and I sent her a card and I'll call her on Sunday....
Lunch, flowers, balloons, you!! That all sounds great!!
Did you write her a poem in her card or sing a song.....
and how wonderful of your dad expressing his love every month.....
Have a wonderful Mother's day!!!
Linda :)

I hope your Mother has a super Mother's Day and by the love that you have for her I'm sure she will.  It's too bad that you will be the only child that will acknowledge her.  Me and my sister will always be close to our Mother.  Luv ya!
