What's Wrong With This Picture?

OW!!!!  I can't even see because I have one contact in and one contact out.

How do you get rid of a stye on the inside of your top eyelid?

I had to call in today at work because I didn't want to scare young children and old people.

I have already tried hot compresses....maybe I need a solution for doing this better.

I put a wet wash cloth in the microwave and nuked it for 10 seconds but it doesn't stay hot long enough.

I put honey on it before I went to bed last night.

It was even bigger than this this morning.

I even washed it with no tear baby shamppoo.

It Has to be gone by Sunday!

If you don't know the answer to this dilema I would appreciate anyone doing research on it and emailing it to MastersBLynn@aol.com

This is an emergency

Next week I will be going on a mini vacation and would REALLY like to be stye fuled.  Styeless.....

ok...what you have, my friend, is a chalazion...a small cyst inside the eyelid caused by blocked gland.  i've had one before...and i know its painful!  i took an antibiotic to get rid of mine, and even after the inflammation was gone, i was left with the small lump for a few weeks.  good luck!!

Try using a compress made from an old tea bag dipped in cold water, leave on the eye for 10 mins. Or, try 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda diluted in a pint of boiling water. Leave to cool then bathe the sty using a clean cotton wool ball. Hope it soon gets better Barbara.

I would peel a potato and put the skins in cheesecloth or a clean unused knee hi, wetting it first.   Place it on your eye lid.  That works for welding burns to the eye as well.  Tea tree oil on the lid will help soothe it.  Be careful not to rub it in your eye if you can!
Hope you feel better soon.  You also need an anti-biotic so call your Dr.

You need to be seen.  I wouldn't mess around with home remedies on something this serious.  Really, Barbara call your doc and get in there.  Pleeeeezzzzeeee,

My grandmother (God rest her soul) being half Cherokee Indian, would get a tea bag as hot as she could stand it and place it on the eye and let it sit there until it chilled off and then repeat the process.  She would swear by it.  Something about the tannin in the tea.  I know they're painful !   Good luck with it.
