Golly Bud you guys act like Pigs!

I am so not even kidding!

Today at work this family of two Moms, three Aunts, Two Grandmas and about 20 kids came through my line at the grocery store where I am a cashier.

Ok....Maybe there were just 10 kids...

Anywho...

That part I am used to.

What I'm not used to is what they did.....

First of all they wanted to know if hot food items from the deli could be bought with food stamps...no

Then as I was scanning their items I noticed most of them were already open.

I kid you not.

Now I know sometimes we can get hungry and eat a donut or give a hungry child a banana or a few cookies...

I actually always brought Eric a snack from home...Any who...as Amanda says.

Here isjust some of what they bought and the condition of each item...

An open bag of Fritos

An empty burrito package

Three banana skins...how the heck do you weigh that?

Some grapes with about 6 attached still to the vine.

An open container of rice from the deli...I asked her...does this have a lid so that I can scan it?

She said...it was 2.29. Just type it in I am eating it right now...this was one of the moms....

The kids were grabbing candy from the aisle and throwing it onto the belt.

And that's not all.

I said Hi how are ya'll?

They grunted.....

Animals I tell you...no worse...at least animals wait until their humans buy and pay for their food before they eat it.

Unbelievable...

and it is only the day after Thanksgiving....

Can you even imagine what creeps those kids will be when they grow up ?  Their parents obviously were raised in the same manner.  It's really sad...I wonder what their house looks like?   Linda in Washington state

omg!  If my family ever acted like that, I would walk. Away. Quickly.  Either that or take them outside and beat the hell out of 'em...lol.  j/k.  But just like someone else said--you don't get paid enough to deal with that.  Black Friday's fun, isn't it???  lol.

People are so rude!!!!!!
I just wanna slap em.....
We had real hired outside security in our store today and I saw a couple of police officers walk through... the managers just had to pick up their walkie talkies and they were there... lol... so maybe that is why people were on their best behavior... of course there were still the ones trying to walk out without paying for their merchandise, the no receipt was a tip off....
Wonder what stories we will have tomorrow.....
Enjoy your weekend!!!
I'm off to sleep..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I always say it's the parents (not the kids) that cause so many of our problems.  Did none of these people ever hear of manners and teaching your kids manners too?

Sheez!  That's amazing that people act that way, and teach their children to act that Way!  Hugs, Shelly

And the adults with them are completely oblivious because I am sure that they are just as ill mannered.  It's atrocious that society thinks good behavior is subjective and optional.  So sorry for what you have to see every day.

I think you handled them with reserved composure.    Perhaps your manager would tell them not to do that if they come in again.    No lid on the container is just stupid.     mark
