Tiny Gets Ticked Off!

Here in Texas we have a huge problem with ticks.  Since we live by the woods we have to keep a close eye on Tiny.  She needed a bath so Rick decided to give her one outside in the wheelbarrel...She loved it....not!  But she was a very good girl.

Recently Rick had to make the trip to Austin to pick up Erics car.  I am afraid it is going to need a complete overhaul.

He towed it back with a cool device his boss lent him.

Right now Rick is in Odessa, Eric is in Austin and I am home.

I have Tiny with me and we are just chillin.  Tonight we will watch Big Brother, my current favorite show.

I work tomorrow night.

Hope everyone is happy and well!

Barbara

Well now that is a good idea to use the wheelbarrow for a pet bath. John had the neatest place at Campbellton and he sold it because it had ticks there. Well thats what he said but I know he made a good profit. lol Paula

And Tiny looks so shiny. And I'm a poet and didn't know  it.  Why is Rick in Odessa? Working? Will Rick be able to work on the car or will youo have to have it done at a shop? Will Eric be without a car for long? :(  Hope you can enjoy Big Brother.  I don't like it anymore.

have you found ticks on Tiny before? Koda had one tick on him when he was just a pup (literally within days after he came to us; we think he had to have brought it with him from Alabama because in Montana it was winter and cold). It was a scary thing to deal with.

I loved that Rick was creative to give her a bath in the wheelbarrow :) That was a cute picture.

Enjoy your evening :)

ticks, my kids got a tick once from camp. I was freaking out. I'm such a baby with bugs. My mom came over and saved the day. I'm such a wimp sometimes. Now tiny hates baths just like Ozzie. It's always a fight. I sure hope Eric's car get's fixed. I know something good will happen.

Here's my tip for the removal of a tick. Dip a cotton wool bud into either Methylated Spirits or cigarette lighter fuel, then dab onto the tick. It worked every time for me.

Girl, ticks just ain't a problem in Texas! A wheelbarrel bath! That sounds exciting, I am going to have to try that out, all though I think I am not small enough. Don't knock it until you've tried it I suppose.

Hope you have a wonderful day!
