I Got Permission!

Cellphone VS. Bible

Makes you stop and think where our priorities are.......
> **************************
> Cell Phone vs. Bible
>
> I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones?

> What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
>
> What if we turned back to go get it if we for got it?
>
> What if we flipped through it several times a day?
>
> What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
>
> What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
>
> What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
>
> What if we used it as we traveled?
>
> What if we used it in case of an emergency?
>
> What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?
>
> This is something to make you go...hmmm...where is my Bible?
>
> Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!

Wonderful entry. I'd seen it.  Too bad more people can't see the importance.
I believe that God put on  Earth to accomplish a certain number of things.  Right now I am so far behind, I will never die.
Love ya, Barb

I've seen this in a couple of other people's journals too; lots of good things to think about. And I've been following B.Lynne's journal for a few weeks :)

Lovely entry Barbara!!  I love it dearly!!  I keep my Bible in the same room with me almost all day and get several daily on line devotionals.  I'm getting geared up to do a study of another portion soon.  It always has an answer for me as to where I am at right now.  For instance, you know how Rob and I have been job hunting for him and disgusted with his company, I open it the other morning and it says, Let every master pay his servant a fair wage.  Exactly our thoughts.  I figure we shall keep on job hunting until we find a fair master with a fair wage.  Hugs,
Lisa
