That Bugs Me!!!!

Bugs....don't like em.  Not even a little bit...or should I say bite!

Noelle was stung on the foot by an ugly looking beetle and got me thinking about my own bug abuse.

Ants...always getting into Tinys kibbles.

Always coming in the electric plugs.

Bees...I swallowed one one time when it tried to drink a can of diet pepsi I left outside for a whole minute.

But the worst story was the day of the faded out blue jeans.

I use to hang my clothes out on a clothes line Rick built for me.

One day I hung a pair of old jeans on the line and never took them off.

I was looking out the window one day and thought...I think those pants might still fit me.  I am going to wear them today.

I went outside and bought them in.

I put in the left leg and then I put in the right.

I screamed bloody murder and bad words I had to fight.

My leg was on fire, I knew not why!

I threw off the pants and out a bunch of bees did fly.

I shook them out and out came two spiders that wiggled and jiggled inside em.

I got stung by all the bees and bit by the spiders too.

My leg was on fire and grew and grew and grew.

I went to the doctor, he gave me a shot.

A new pair of pants is what I did got!

So next time you wonder if those pants will still fit..

Throw them away so you won't get bit!

True story!  And one I will never forget.

Next time I will leave them on the line..you bet!

Love the impromptu poetry!  The bees wanted the jeans for themselves!

Back to beetle searching!

Oh my gosh...what an awful thing to happen.  I know you have to be careful with leaving soda cans outside, the bees are really attracted to soda.  I carried my can of Dr Pepper in & out of the house all afternoon, because I was sure if I left it unattended.....well, you know.    Linda in WA          http://journals.aol.com/lsfp1960/LindasWorld/

Sad story but your presentation sure made me laugh.  My son once stuck his foot into a workboot left on the porch overnight that was occupied by a hornet.  He stuck his foot in, wiggled his toes because he felt something and then pulled his foot out screaming.

This story had me laughing and I wondered how long those pants had been out there, days, weeks, a month? Shake first, then wear.  So cute how you told it.  Dr. Seuss meets Animal Planet.  So sorry you were bit like that.  Traumatizing to imagine all of that crawling out of the leg of your pants!
