ROLLARCOASTER

WELLL...

I WENT TO THE VIEWING FOR LARRY.

WHEN I GOT HOME I GOT A PHONE CALL THAT MY DAD WAS HEADED BACK TO THE HOSPITAL.

I KNOW.....

YOU JUST CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP...

HE WAS ADMITED TO THE SAME HOSPITAL MY MOM IS IN THIS TIME.

SHE IS IN REHAB

HE IS ON THE SEVENTH FLOOR.

WE THINK HE MIXED UP HIS MEDICATION.

HOME ALONE AND PROBABLY NOT SUCH A GREAT IDEA.

ANYWAY WHEN I LEFT HIM HE WAS COMING BACK AROUND.

SO I WAS PLAYING HOSPITAL TAG.

GO SEE MOM....GO SEE DAD....ELEVATOR DOWN TO MOM.....ELEVATOR UP TO DAD.

MOM SAID....I MISS YOUR DAD SO MUCH I NEED A HUG AND KISS FROM HIM

DAD SAID...I MISS YOUR MOM TERRIBLY I NEED A KISS FROM HER.

TOMORROW I AM GOING TO TALK TO THE NURSE AND SEE IF THEY CAN GET THEM IN THE SAME ROOM FOR SOME TIME TOGETHER.

THEY ARE SO WORRIED ABOUT EACH OTHER.

ERIC IS COMING TOMORROW.

I NEED A BREAK.....

Barbara,
What a birthday gift to have your parents together in the same room.  I will keep my fingers crossed it happens.
Please, give my condolences to Rick.
You, dear, definitely need a Calgon Day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, to you.

You really do need a break.

You do need a break, Barbara. Why not talk to the hospital and ask them to put your mom and dad in the one room in the one ward?
