Eric is gone home. I miss him already. It is so hard for me to let him leave. I know he has to, because he is grown now. I just miss him so much.
Tiny is not speaking to us right now for letting him leave.
She tried to stow away in his car.
I will dwell on the fun we had while he was here.
We went shopping, out to eat, we went to see the movie Fun With Dick and Jane, spent a day in the woods, played on the computer, took lots of pictures.
It's not working...I still miss him.
He will call me as soon as he gets home and I will be better, but I just wonder how long it will be when he leaves and I don't cry for an hour.
Hug your children and spend time with them while you have them close. Build memories to fall back on.
This is the only thing that gets me through.
Happy Birthday Eric, so glad that you chose to spend your birthday with me and Dad.
Thanks for coming to visit. We miss you already.

Aww! I dont know how i will be able to deal when my kids are grown.
Take comfort in knowing that he loves you and that you raised him well. I know lots of people whose kids come back home soon after leaving because they cant hack in the real world. Atleast he can take care of himself!!!!
YOU DID GOOD!

Wow, it just seemed like I was reading that he was there. It wasn't long enough!!! But I'm glad you guys had a good time and that you all love each other so much - that really means a lot these days, you know?? You and your husband did a great job raising Eric; pat yourselves on the back!

I know what you are going thru sis. I haven't seen my baby boy, Tommy & my precious 2 & 4 yr old granddaughters in almost a year (2000 miles between us). He & I are sooo close & hopefully when his divorce is final & he decides what he is going to do he will bring the girls home to us & stay awhile. It almost killed me when he was shipped to Kuwait. We talked to him the very night the war started over there. I didn't want to let him off the phone that night.
Tiny looks like he likes Eric pretty well. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Love ya!

hello, I'm new to j- world, I just started my journal today. i have been feeling a real strong calling to god. I was just reading some of the other journals and came across yours. it really touched me as a son having a struggleing relationship with my mom. i'm also looking to have my first child in the next few years and want to make sure the women i marry feels the same way you feel towrd your son. the love you have for him comes accross real strong. i gues the way a want my mother to love me and fear that she does not. by the way my birth day is 2-25 the same day you started your journal. just another sign from god that i am where he wants me.
so glad you got to spend time with your son:)
