Prayer Warriors

Thank you!!!!!

First of all I would like to say thank you to all my jland friends who must have put me on their prayer list.  Keep me there!!!

Yesterday at work not one single person gave me any lip about my speed and I got faster...duhhhhh.

I could feel the prayers going up all around me and I was calm and I could concentrate and I picked up my speed.

They asked me if I could work today....um no I worked my last day off thankyou and I do have a life.  I don't mind working extra hours every once in a while but I need my off time too.

I spent this morning catching up on my journals.  Boy was I shocked this morning when I saw all my emails.  I love it!!!

Keep the cards and letters coming.

Thank you to all those who responded to Margarets homework question.  She is such a sweetheart and I have adopted her as my little sister since I lost mine.

 

We use to work together at the PIG. We both got smart and left.  It just took me longer...I was there for 7 years.  I miss my customers but they have all slowly found me across the street working at the grocery store.  It is funny to see their faces when they realize who is their cashier.

Customers who hadn't been to the restaurant for a while look at me real funny and say something like....you look familiar...do Iknow you? lol

When I remind them where they know me from most of them say they do not go there anymore...I wonder why???

I am off today and I was going to go to town with another waitress (ex) of mine but her family is getting together, so I guess I will just chill out today.

I don't know what I am going to do about Thanksgiving this year.  I plan on visiting with my parents and my big sister and her family but I am not sure when my husband, son and I can get together.

Eric has to work that day so he wants us to come to Austin and eat turkey with him after work.  He said we wouldn't even have to cook any thing because he would bring the left overs from his gourmet restaurant.  HMMM gourmet dinner?

Heck yeah.  I just hope I will be off the day after Thanksgiving so I can spend some time with him.. I must put this on the schedule at work.

My cook friend just called and said she has found a new job.  She is leaving the PIG too!!!  I am so happy for her because she is a great person and that new manager who did me wrong is still making life miserable for all the people who have been there for years.  It is a bar b que place and since she has become manager she is trying to turn it into a mexican food place....which is all well and good but she is just the manager not the owner. Wake up moron....

Well I will probably be back later to add another entry, but I need to get away from this computer for a while so I can say I didn't spend all day here....lol
